Chris Houle
Chris Houle is CEO of Tesser, a provider of business modeling consulting services and innovative cloud-based solutions. He brings more than thirty years of senior management experience, guiding organizations through growth, transformation, and the adoption of advanced analytical tools.
Prior to founding Tesser, Chris was Co-Founder and CEO of Quantrix, a business modeling and analytics software company, where he played a key role in shaping its vision, product strategy, and market presence. Before Quantrix he was CEO of ERP software company Scala Business Solutions which he took public.
Els Scholten
Els is Chief Business Development Officer and Co-Founder of Tesser, where she leads global partnerships and international growth. She brings more than twenty-five years of international experience across business development, partner and account management, communications, public relations, and event management.
Prior to co-founding Tesser, Els served as Global Partner Manager at IDBS and Quantrix, where she was instrumental in building and managing strategic partner ecosystems and supporting international expansion.
Gábor Kunszt
Gabor is Chief Software Architect at Tesser, where he has spent the past fifteen years designing, developing, and evolving the platform alongside his academic career. He brings a deep understanding of Tesser’s architecture and plays a central role in shaping its technical direction.
He holds an MSc in Computer Science and has over twenty years of experience in web development. Prior to Tesser, he worked in healthcare software development. Gabor’s expertise spans scripting and compiled programming languages, as well as relational and NoSQL databases.
Valerie Grenier
Valerie is a Senior Consultant at Tesser, working closely with customers to design, build, and deploy effective business models that maximize the value of their modeling solutions.
She brings over twenty years of experience in finance and accounting and is a recognized expert in multi-dimensional (Tesser & Quantrix) modeling.
Prior to Tesser, Valerie served as Professional Services Lead at Quantrix, where she led client delivery initiatives and supported organizations in developing scalable modeling solutions.
Shawn Mercer
Shawn is a Senior Consultant at Tesser, with over twenty years of experience in finance across banking, insurance, telecommunications, and the public sector.
He leverages his expertise in financial modeling and Quantrix to support customers in developing effective, multi-dimensional, business planning and modeling solutions tailored to their needs.
Prior to Tesser, Shawn was Senior Performance Analyst at The bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Ltd. and Director Planning at Flagstone Re.
Piotr Laszczkowski
Piotr is Tesser’s Senior Frontend Developer and Frontend Architect. He combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight and a hands-on approach to implementation. He plays a key role enhancing the quality, reliability, and scalability of the Tesser platform and the integrity and quality of the development team.
His areas of expertise include JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js, WebSocket, Python, PHP and frontend frameworks and bundling tools. Prior to Tesser Piotr worked for Handsontable and Ingenious.build.
Mihaly Benda
Mihaly is Senior Programming Engineer at Tesser and has been instrumental in architecting and enhancing Tesser’s calculation service. His analytical thinking and problem-solving skills have been essential to the Tesser platform as a whole and the calculation service specifically.
He has a Master’s in Bionics from the Faculty of Technology and Bionics at Hochschule Rhein-Waal and a Bachelor’s as Biochemical Engineer from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Mihaly’s areas of expertise include C++, Python, C#.
Péter Somogyi
Peter is Infrastructure Specialist at Tesser, responsible for designing and managing scalable, high-performance environments that support the platform’s reliability and integration.
He has MSc degrees in both Economics and Computer Sciences, combining technical expertise with strong business insight.
With over twenty years of experience, Peter has led the development of innovative thin client solutions and complex system integrations. He also brings extensive expertise in website optimization and web marketing.
Norbert Tóth
Norbert is a Senior Software Engineer at Tesser where he focuses on the continuous improvement of the platform’s backend systems, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.
He has an MSc in Embedded Software Technology from Óbuda University and brings over fifteen years of experience in web development. Norbert’s expertise includes C#, .NET Core, SQL, Python, and C++.
Norbert Kelemen
Norbert is a Web Developer at Tesser, bringing nearly twenty years of experience in web development. He contributes to the development and maintenance of reliable web solutions that support the platform’s ongoing growth.
He has a BS in Information Technology from Budapest Technical College. His skill set includes JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, PHP, SQL, and CSS.
